I had to surrender 4 of my furbabies it was a very hard and stressful decision but meeting Daniel changed everything he took in my babies and treated them like his own no questions ask, they had an amazing new human to live with in an amazing fun play area it was a home away from home. After being devastated that no one in the family could take care of our grandad’s cat after his passing, I was so relieved to meet Daniel and instantly knew that we had found the right person to take care of her. We recently adopted Sawyer (the chillest dude ever) from UFA and I couldn’t have hoped for a better adoption experience! Daniel took the time to get to know me, asked insightful questions about us and our pre-existing cats. He told us heaps about Sawyer’s personality and how best to integrate him. Great start up rescue. Especially as it is catered to those needing to rehome their own fur babies. The man in charge is very friendly, reliable and has open and honest communication. Definitely recommend! I adopted a playmate for my old resident two months ago, in the beginning I was a bit concerned that the two cats may not get along well with each other. I contacted Daniel for help with rehoming since we had two cats that were not compatible. He responded quickly and our fur boy found a new home after about a week. My first impression (or imagination) was that pet rescue groups are run by people with a large backyard or spare rooms. After reading Maeve’s (née Phoenix) description we knew she would be a great fit for our family. It was important that we had an easy going female to ensure our existing cat warmed to her quickly. They now give noses kisses! Daniel made the process of a meet and greet really easy, and I loved how well she already socialized with the other cats. Being a teenage Mum, Mauve has overcome any trauma with the love she was given prior to coming to us. She has settled in so well and enjoys having an older brother to play with.

I volunteered as a foster carer at Urban Feline Australia for a short time (my resident dog apparently does not adjust well to change). During this time the owner, Dan, was friendly, approachable and certainly understood when I couldn't house the foster cat any longer. What he has been able to do with limited support and funds is incredible and you can tell this is his passion. If you have the space in your home and you're looking to start (or continue) fostering cats I highly recommend working with Urban Feline Australia. We got our beautiful cats from this Rescue and the entire process was clear and Daniel was punctual throughout the entire process to any of our questions, Cleo and Asha's foster carers were very lovely and gave us lots of tips to help them settle into our space, we couldn't be happier with our choice too use this rescue as compare to larger shelters, the welfare of the cats is definitely takes priority and is very evident in their care, would recommend to everyone!
